Nalkaras Fashion Website
A storefront for handcrafted, made-to-measure Indian wear. Built entirely with Claude Code, and designed around enquiries, not a cart.
Context
Nalkaras sources sarees and ethnic wear from Indian weavers, tailors each piece and ships worldwide. Everything is priced on request. A shopping cart would have been the wrong tool.
My role
A freelance project, built entirely with Claude Code. I set the direction, made the design and content calls, and reviewed and refined every output.
What I did
The look is premium and editorial: warm neutrals, navy and gold, and big fashion photography. The answers overseas customers need come first: made to measure, worldwide shipping, handpicked fabrics, personal styling. Products show “price on request”, and every path ends in a conversation through an enquiry form, a consultation booking or a WhatsApp button that’s always on screen. A short craft story and a three-step process explain custom orders.
Outcome
A complete, working site in a fraction of the usual time. It shows how I use artificial intelligence in practice.
